Acrylic on canvas, cotton thread

Acrylic on canvas, cotton thread When COVID-19 first hit New Jersey in early March last year, my life was turned upside down as quarantine life became the new normal. Many of my favorite activities came to a halt, and I felt like I was trapped. I yearned
to return to my old life where I moved about freely and did the things I loved. In Confined, I personified the octopus and wrapped silk threads around its legs to express how I felt unable to manifest my plans and dreams despite my many colorful ideas for the future.
