I designed a 16-page book that visually conveyed the article "The Myth of Sustainable Fashion" written by Kenneth P. Pucker using Adobe Photoshop and InDesign. This article covered the environmental impact of fast fashion and how damaging it is, therefore transparency is important in the clothing factory industry. I used two materials for my type image: red duct tape and charcoal. At the story's beginning, the red duct tape letters represent the plasticity and artificial materials of fast fashion. Then starting on page 5, I transition into using charcoal to show the environmental contamination and filth from mass production. Near the book's end, I utilized duct tape and charcoal to show the transition into change and potential hope for the future.
